Classification of belt drive types
Depending on the application, there are general industrial belts, automotive belts, agricultural machinery belts, and home appliance belts. Friction-type transmission belts are divided into flat belts, V-belts and special belts (poly-V belts, round belts) according to their cross-sectional shapes.
Among them, the flat belt transmission includes open transmission, cross transmission and semi-cross transmission, etc., which are respectively adapted to the needs of different relative positions and different rotation directions of the driving shaft and the driven shaft.
